Are lower back tatoos on women an invitation to look at her butt? if so hwy do some get angry?

Haaaaa. It's an unspoken rule that gals with the lower back tat are "up for it," but no rumor or stereotype can always be correct. (Except maybe the one about men always ogling women's bottoms--ha, ha.)
I will say that I personally know three women with rather extensive lower back tattooing, and they may not act it, but they ALL want to be noticed.
Tattooing is a bold move on its own, but the final decision of content AND PLACEMENT definitely says A LOT about the person. :) And that is a FACT. Gotta watch yourselves out there, ladies :) If you don't, someone else WILL, and you might not like it.
Didn't Vince Vaughn call the lower back tattoo "a bullseye" or something, in Wedding Crashers? Hehehe...

Anything that's showing, they want you to see. If a girl wears a stomach shirt it's not because it's free and uplifting. It's because she think she's got a nice stomach and wants you to think so, too. If you can see the lower back tattoo, it's the same principle. If she didn't WANT you to see it, you wouldn't be able to.

My ex was a tatoo artist. I wish she had "Stupid" across her fore head!!! I agree with some other answers Tramp Stamp!

I personally have one and its the exact reason why I got it. I have a hot body and I like to show it off. I am 34 and have three kids and I am very proud that I can still wear a bikini and look hot. For me its more of a celebration of my body. I welcome people looking..I get more looks from woman than men but its all good..it keeps me in shape and self conscious of my body to stay fit and trim.

I think they look pretty cheesy though I have seen a few that were nice. It's like an advertisement banner you can't help but look.

I don't get them- why on earth would you want to put a permanent image on your body that you can't even SEE?
Seems like it is a sign of an insecurity, to me. Wanting to get a tat just to impress someone else. Not all that impressive.

You mean Tramp stamps? as we like to call them here in Michigan.
Girls should get tattoos in places they dont want people looking! - thats my opinion!

I look at those tattoos as like the stack of magazines in the bathroom... something for a guy to look at while he's """busy""" to keep his attention.
