Well, when I *thought* it was based on true events and it was re-enacted from acutal footage it freaked the hell out of me. Once the truth came out, all magic was lost. But kudos to the film makers.

The movie was not scripted. At certain times throughout the day, the actors were given pieces of paper with instructions on them, they were never told the plot line. Their suspense was genuine.

I thought this was a terrible movie - profane, cheaply filmed,
not scary in the least. That it was a box-office attraction, shows what publicity can accomplish, even in the case of rubbish.

No. We went to see it when it first came out and we kept waiting for the scary part. It never came. It was just stupid.

Scariest movie I ever saw. I literally couldn't fall asleep for four nights after seeing it. I'm more afraid of the unknown than I am of monsters or serial killers, so it worked for me. I understand why some people don't like it, though.

Yes. It scares me more than the whole Saw, Hostel, Hills Have Eyes genre where gore=horror.

NO, worst movie ever created! I got my money back afterwards. I kept waiting for it to get good, then it was over and I was still waiting, same for The Village, what a load of crap. I sat through the entire film with a WTF look on my face!
