It's just a stereotype that people have given black and white dancers over the years. But you do have to admit, African Americans are pretty dang good at hip-hop and getting crunk and stuff! And if you think about it (honestly), when you think of ballet you probably picture a graceful white dancer but with street style, you most likely envision a black person loose and getting down to the music, right? Yes, I thought so! <3

That's called stereotypes.
People also think if you're a woman you can't be a good scientist or if you are a man you shouldn't be a nurse.
It has to do with culture and traditions. Traditionally, black people sing and dance hip-hop. Hip-hop is very popular and that's why black people may be considered better dancers. Which I always object to by saying that most professional ballet dancers are not black, simply because black children were not brought into ballet schools, not for any other reason. Women are underrepresented in science because for senturies there were either not educated at all or encouraged to stay at home and not pursue a college degree.
None of it should stop anyone from doing what they want to pursue. Anyone can be good at anything.

you know up till a few years back i used to think that all black people could dance better than white people, and im white lol.. but turns out, if its in u then u can dance, but no matter what color you are, it has to be in you

I suppose that It's just reputation based on a 1990's analysis. The blackies were the best dancers.

because most black singers sing hip hop and breck/booty dance. White people are considered country/rock singers and they don't dance.

well i think its wrong too but i asked someone about that and
they say that whites arent sopose to know how to do dance good and blacks are so soposed to be better at it
but thats still crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
