Rush doesn't know. He was high on pills when the story broke.

She was a covert agent, we admit, until Aldrich Ames revealed her status to the Russians. That's why she was parked at a desk in the US.

As for her repeated claims to Congress, why should we believe her? After all, having been trained as a covert agent, she's obviously skilled in lying. And she also claimed she had nothing to do with Wilson being selected to go to Niger, even though everybody else involved with sending him says she recommended him.

There has been no corroboration from any other legitimate source that she was, indeed, covert at the time.

Nor has there been any indication from anybody, except the litigious Wilson and Plame, that any of the people who told others about her or confirmed her as being in the CIA knew whether she was covert or not, which is also necessary for there to have been any claim of misconduct on others' parts.

Sorry, your claims are without merit. They are unsupported by any but the fame-seeking Plame. That's not good enough.

While I can't speak for "Rush Limbaugh and his minions", I do wonder what a "covert" agent was doing riding a desk in Virginia.

Based on her testimony today, I got the impression that she sees herself as a female 007 whose "outing" was a threat to western civilization.

Delusions of Grandeur...or posturing for that big book deal?

yes we do. You can't be covert and work at Langley. The CIA can not operate inside the U.S.. If she was covert and working at Langley then we need an investigation as to why a Covert agent was operating inside the U.S in direct violation of Federal law.

This has nothing to do with Rush. What is has to with is a CIA operative using her position to weaken the country that she took an oath to protect and also using her position as a propaganda machine for John Kerry and the Democrat party.

You obviously missed the testimony where they said she wasn't covert.

If she was covert, Mr. Fitzgerald would have taken someone to court already.

Also, she has to keep up her lies because she is about to come out with a book. If I can stay in the spotlight a little longer, some dopes will buy my book.

She was covert (past tense) while working overseas, but not when she was working here in the states. She did, after all, use the front door at Langley when going to work.

Note: I am not a fan of Rush, just an independent (read: both sides dislike me).

Because she said so? Why didn't Patrick Fitzgerald run with that one.....oh yeah....because she wasn't at the time....I guess working at the actual CIA building in Langley will throw those damn spies off of her trail....never would they have suspected that a covert operative would actually blow her own cover and go into that building.......what the hell are you smoking?

Don't see what the big deal about it is by liberal standards to begin with.
Releasing national secrets is great past time for NY Times.

There hasn't been nearly the outrage by liberals about that.

If a crime was commited how come no one has been charged.
Or how come the investigations have stop.

Probably.

Remember, Rush Limbaugh is just an entertainer like Ann Coulter. There's a reason they complain but don't actually try to be political leaders.

Yeah I heard Lush Rimjaughb for a few seconds at lunch, and he was still babbling on (using his 'whiny' voice) about how she was never covert, and everyone knew she was an agent.

On and on.

And yet, she has testified, under oath, and I'm sure the CIA keeps records on what her status was at the time.

None of the right-wing noise machine idiots have anything proving otherwise. That won't stop them from babbling incoherently though.
