Okay, I'm 15 and I've now lost my second ipod nano, its not that I'm careless, just VERY forgetful. My parents wont buy me another one (I don't blame them) but they won't let me get a job so I can buy one myself :( How can I raise money? (Come on, I'm 15, I'm not going to do do the lame old lemonade stand..)

Babysitting, ask your parents if there are Extra things you could do around the house to earn the money. Help relatives with cleaning and such. Try tutoring younger students. I'm mom to 3 and I agree after 2 ipod nano's no more from mom and dad. My son has one that he lent to a friend at school and the friend broke it. I won't buy him another one.

How about doing extra chores around the house, (I did extra chores for a month and now I am getting a laptop for my birthday). Also, I think it would be a great idea to baby sit for a while, that way you can show your parents, that you are responsible enough for a real job.

lemona... oh wait. Never mind. :-) That's lame that your parents wont buy you another one, and wont let you get a job to buy your own. (They are holding you 'ipod hostage.') sucks. Maybe you could work out a deal with them, and do 'chores' for a month, if they buy you another one.

if you get allowances from your parents just save the money! that's what i use to do or you can help out at your grandparents and get money! good luck
