Virtual memory is a part of your hard drive being used like RAM. The easiest way to fix would be to install more RAM. You can manually change the settings for Virtual Memory(Paging File) in WIN XP by clicking -start- then right click -My Computer- and select -properties-
select the -advanced- tab
select -settings- under performance
select -advanced- tab
select -change- under virtual memory
select -custom size-
usually 2000 minimum to 4000 maximum works well
select -set-
close all windows and reboot.
Some people will opt to have no paging file on their C drive and put a custom size on their next hard drive to improve gaming performance. How well that works depends on the bus speeds of your motherboard.

Right click 'my computer' and select properties
Then select 'advanced'
Then select under performance 'settings'
Then select 'advanced'
At the bottom, select 'change' in virutal memory area.
In the middle select 'system managed size' and hit 'set' then ok
Reboot and that will correct any virtual issues on the machine AS LONG AS you have enough hard drive space. Make sure you have plenty available.

It means get more RAM. Virtual memory is a joke, if you don't want that error then go Atl+Ctrl+Delete and delete some IEXPORE.exe process (The ones your not using) Sometimes that slows down pop-ups too.
