If girls have light blonde hairs on their upper lip is it necessary to shave it or wax it off? Only when it gets dark should it be shaved, right? Wouldn't the lip feel prickly though after shaving or waxing?

hey chick! lol If the blonde hair is very thick and noticable then waxing is a great way to fight the hair. It won't grow back darker or thicker like most of these goones out hear think. Waxing will not make your lip feel prickly afterwards the hair is ripped out of the hair bulb so therefore it grows back like a new hair would, this also means it takes longer for those stupid things to grow back. NEVER SHAVE any hair on your face the hair is cut off by the razor and it will be prickly and unattractive. PS- it only hurts the first few times ;)

DO NOT shave any hair it only grows back darker & thicker
if you want to bleach it there are products out there sold at drug stores over the counter that will keep it light I have heard waxing helps too but it costs money & is painful but in the long run it grows back light & not thick

If you have dark hair and a little bit of a mustache, bleach it! With Jolene, it is better than shaving or waxing because it doesn't grow back even thicker! That, or you could try laser hair removal but it is painful and takes a few treatments.

Yikes! If you shave it it will become dark. It's not a big deal in my book. Unless it's long and starting to curl. Maybe you should pluck the long ones. My mom said girls use to bleach their top lips. Glad those days are over. I have redish hair and blond peach fuzz all over my face. I would have to shave/wax the entire thing. No thanks.

Best advice is to thread it trust me!!! everyone i know threads it. i don't know about waxing never heard of that being used here but threading is hardly painful and gets great results.plus its cheap as you can do it at home with a thread :) , it stays away for long and I've been doing it for 4 years now and it hasn't changed my upper lip in texture or colour the slightest. try it! oh and in the salon its just £2!!!!

DON'T SHAVE!!! You will end up with the stiff & probably more hair. If it is just blonde & not long, I would leave it alone. If is is long I would use scissors to trim them down. It is the black hair that you worry about. When you start getting them it is time to see someone, but never shave your face. I would see an expert who does hair removal that kills the hair folicle at the root.

The easiest, cheapest, quickest way to get rid of hair on your upper lip is Nair.. They make some specifically for facial hair. All you have to do is put it on, leave it for a few minutes, then wipe it off. Plus: No pain, unlike your other options. Hope this helps :)

Never ever shave that. EVER!!!...If someone feels self-conscious about it then I suggest waxing, laser, or electrolyse.
