I'd never seen a pic of Ira Glass until This American Life got on Showtime. He doesn't look at all like I expected him to. Neither did Garrison Keillor, Michael Feldman, Peter Sagal or anyone else on NPR. Is it just me? Is it just NPR?

I knew what Ira looked like before I started listening. But one person who looks nothing (or maybe everything?) like she sounds is Terry Gross.

Man people on the radio DEFINITELY DON'T look like they sound. DJs sound so hot on the radio but whenever i see a pic of them its such a disappointment!

it is everyone. talk to a stranger on the phone and you willhave a mental image that is totally out of sync with what they acctually look like
