This question just sparked a memory, We didn't get formally engaged which means I didn't propose as a true gentleman.
Better late than never.
After all the roads of the world I have travelled, all the sights that I have seen, I have never seen anything that could match the eternal magic within you, I have seen both darkness and light, I have felt sorrow and joy, though no joy could ever match the feelings you instill within me.
The sun will rise and then the skies fall into darkness though without you there would never be a universe covered with stars, twinkling in the night sky like the intensity of your eyes, like diamonds sparkling for the world to admire, showing the passion you have within, and all my days would be dark without you. You are my ray of sunshine, even in stormy weather I know that you would be there just waiting for the storm to pass so that you could guide me back to you.
Would you do me the honor of making me the happiest man in the world and be my bride ? All I can do in return for such an honor would be to treat you like the princess that you are.
Please marry me ?

It's the B/f that kept proposing. Finally I told him not to ask again until he is ready to see the judge. Now it is a big waiting game. He'll pop and we will hit the courthouse, same day. I'll let you know when.
