Just because that's a word...

But yeah, just move to Canada... That's what I'm going to do.

The FDA controls toxic substances used for medicinal purposes.

All drugs are poisonous. There are no exceptions.

As some point I'm sure the regulations that prevented drugs from crossing borders were intended for our protection, but the reality today is that it's about protecting the money flow. Insurance companies are willing to pay inflated prices for drugs in the US and letting people bring those drugs in from other countries puts the 1.5 Trillion Dollars spent each year to treat sickness in the US in jeopardy.

The end result is that a lot of people get screwed.

A lot of drug spending could be prevented by people who would just learn how to support the biological needs of the body and what every cell in the body requires to restore, protect and defend itself against the effects of injury and disease (including the injury caused by the toxic effects of the drugs) but usually we just want to "feel better" so we take the drug, stop having the symptoms and don't seek any other means of actually improving wellness.

I was told by the Dept. of Homeland Security when they seized my package from canadapharmacy.com (for Zyrtec..an ALLERGY medicine that I have a prescription for) that they seize them to "protect us" from drugs they don't know are safe and they are not labels properly to even be accepted by our FDA in the US. It's a load of crap. Now I'm stuck paying an $80 monthly co-pay for a drug I could have gotten in Canada for $30 for a 3 month supply. ARG!

I agree with your summation, I also agree with "wiserangels" answer. My Ex-wife works for a major pharmaceutical company, and according to her "sources", the FDA has a lot to do with "controlling untested substances" "for the betterment of our health overall".

There are Canadian pharmaceutical retail outlets in Florida.

They won't allow you because it is a lot cheaper in Canada and they are afraid to lose money.
