The trick here is that they don't call them arrays! Kinda cooky isn't it? They call them collections (which in most languages means an array of various, possibly different, object types). I have provided a few links below to get you started since there are three basic types of "collections" that PLSQL can handle.

1) Nested tables
2) Varrays
3) Index-by tables

Varrays and nested tables also need to specify a constructor so I have put a link in there for that as well.
