HONEY be proud of who you are. it doesn't matter at your tender age what people think. just ignore them and keep holding your head up high! =)

Peace. xoxo.

I'm sorry to say that only time will cure this.

Please don't stop reading, just to not be called a dork.

You aren't a dork; when your peers grown up, they won't feel this way any more (most of them, some will always hate intelligence).

'Geek' has actually become a compliment, among the mature -- geeks are brilliant at what they do, you should aspire to it.

Grown ups admire people who are good at what they do.

Most kids, unfortunately, don't.

Ignore them.

You're in a time of life when most people feel put down by others, and unhappy.

The kids who are most popular now are the ones who most likely will have rotten lives all the rest of their lives.

Like mostly everyone above said, who cares what they are calling you now. In the long run, you will have the great job and supporting yourself! They will probably still be mooching off of mom and dad! I would love for my middle school child to be a geek. I am sorry for the pain of being called a dork or a geek though. It breaks a mothers heart to think someone might call their child that. Be strong and courageous. I wish I had studied in school.

Hey, I was a geek by definition, and people thought I was amazing! Be proud of being a geek. It means you don't have to worry about getting Fs and stuff! A lot of people say that they're pressured by school and are scared of failing, but we geeks don't have to go through that, because we remained unchallenged (at least not so much) by school. We enjoy life. Be proud of that.

Be a geek in school (roughly 1/4 of your life), and when you grow up and have the cool job, you won't be the loser working in a factory.

Be happy to be a geek, not everyone can be. Like the others said, stick with it the rest will work for you someday

Why do you worry about what others think of you? So many kids these days try to become what their friends say they should be.

Be your own personailty. Be your own unique person. Don't succumb to peer pressure.

You'll be a better person if you have pride and satisfaction in doing things well. Your friends try to bring you down because they are not as smart as you are, that's a fact. Most kids don't like to see someone else smarter and better than themselves.

Try doing other things with ppl that you don't really talk to. Try sports or music. But don't drop the book thing. You can be smart and popular.

Don't change your self because of other people, there is always a person that will like you just the way you are.
