the other day i was eating my lunch at school, talking to my friends, when all of a sudden i tried to say something, and no sound came out?
i wasnt chewing anything at the time.
i tried again a few seconds later, without clearing my throat or anything, and i could speak again.

anyone have an idea of why this happened?

cheers

maybe it had something to do with the fact you were eating and your vocal chords weren't ready to make a noise?

Maybe it is just a weird, small, world phenomenon!

This has happened to me, sometimes in the middle of sentence. At first I thought it was nerves??? but then it happened on occasion when no stress involved. Funny thing is your mind is working but things aren't getting to where you want them....maybe a mis-firing of nerve responses? And you're left saying "what the H*LL?"

Kool, that rocksprettymuch.
probably some sort of messup with your vocal cords, like a random thing that your body somtimes does ( i get a tik from time to time)
if it happens alot go to a doctor of do sponsored silences
