why is it so hard to work a computer when you do not know what in the world you are doing?

i have had this stupid computer for a month and cant find how to do nothing with it so hard

Your answer is really in the question isn't it.

It is so hard BECAUSE you do not know what you are doing. That really seems fairly reasonable logic to me.

Perhaps you need to consider a mini course on the applications you are wanting to use - OR spend a few bob and buy on e of the "XXX for dummies" guide - very easy going and quite informative.

the good news is once you have mastered one windows application, the rest become easier too - as a lot of the menus use the same sort of style / method.

Sounds like you just need a little training / reading up, shouldn't be too hard for you - and will certainly be a LOT easier than struggling as you are at the moment.

its the nature of the beast man you have crossed over to the tech side now you are one of us and unless you have a mac
you're future holds error codes crashes viruses and a general sense of all around helplessness in short u r screwed frustration will be whats for dinner today....but it is kinda worth it because to own a computer is to make the world a whole lot smaller and once you get a hang of it you will find its really fun...i promise

And yet, apparently you know enough to be able to get on the internet, sign on to Yahoo, and create this question, so you must be learning something. I'd suggest you just be patient and continue to build on your experience. In time, you will learn.

you answer your own question you haven't read the manual or found out anything about it you just jumped right in as my mother says you put your cart before the horse and wondering why you haven't gone any where.
go read the books that come with the computer and you should be as my grandmother says right as rain lol
