What's the difference between the songs on this album and the originals? I own all the Beatles CDs and I'm thinking about buying 1. Does is sound any different? Are the 1 songs clearer than the ones on the original albums???

Don't buy into the hoo-haw about better sound... just buy it if you want all of the #1's on one CD. The pretentious "you can hear it, um, maybe, if you have well trained ears, like me" comments blow. I bought it because I tend to buy most of the Bealtes CD's, not because of any different sound quality (which doesn't really amount to a hill of beans, even when they do improve the sound).

I would say that the sound has been remastered. On all of the songs, I can clearly notice that the quality has been improved.
However, the main point of this album was to introduce The Beatles to a younger audience by releasing all of the hits on a CD rather than a record.

Since you own all the Beatles CD, there's no point in buying 1.

They have stereo mixes of some of the earlier hits,
like A Hard Days Night, Can't Buy Me Love but basically its repacking of the standard releases

Buy 1 CAUSE ITS AWESOME!!! They do sound different... but slightly... They edited it a bit so you can't hear some of the accidents they recorded that are on the original CDs so yeah... BUY IT!!! IT'S AWESOME!!! I LOVE THE BEATLES!!! I LOVE JOHN LENNON!!! btw, thank you for choosing my answer... YOU ROCK!!! :D
