Don't get a Lexmark, they are cheap but doesn't last long and the printout is terrible. Get either a Canon,Epson or HP. Epson is usually cheaper than Canon or HP. My preference is Canon. It print beautiful picture,text, high quality built,last a long time and easy to use.

I can only tell you by what I own.
I use a 3 in 1 Lexmark printer, scanner, fax, copy machine. It does fine for me....
**** I said 3 in 1 and gave you 4 things that it does.....lol

HP is good and mine is new but kind of noisy --it's the printer/fax/copier/scanner one. It does have good quality print and is pretty fast though.
I wanted a laser jet but it was too much $$$ beyond my pocketbook.

Hewlet Packard LASER-JET, the ink jet printers all suck. They are a scam to get you to spend too much money on ink cartridges.
