Cause I thought I had to have a master and a slave with an IDE cable...or how does that work? Cause the SATA drive doesnt have the same jumper setup.

I hope this will help you out.

The SATA drive has a jumper setting on the back of the drive just like the IDE ones do . You need too look for a manual / diagram sticker / symbols on the sata drive to see where to move a little black rectangular plug into a position telling it it is master. Then for the IDE drive make then Slave / master using following method via the way you have them pluged into your machine.
