Coz I wanna practice without creating much noise so the neighbors don't have to put up with it.

I'm not an expert drummer so I'm really confused between buying muffle heads and drum mutes. I am told that they both decrease the noise the drum makes but I really don't know which one to buy...

Oh and yeah, I need the ones that block most of the sound but still fairly audible.

Also, the ones that don't ruin it. Maybe just a little :p

Coz I'm afraid that they might all sound the same. XD

Drum Mutes are the best because they block out the most sound. Faliing that you should get a practise pad from your local music store to practise your rudiments on. You can just have it on your lap and play it that way.

dont forget they also make sticks that make the drums quieter. or brushes. just an idea. i was in the same predicament a few years ago. i saved up and bought an electronic drum set. but also putting a towel over the heads stops the sound pretty well. and will save u about $50.

Honestly, if u have the moolah, get a nice electric drum set if u wanna practice all day long like i do, but i dont have one yet cause my neighbors haent yet complained.

but yeah drum mutes are fine, just annoying.
