I do not know, but I think it's VERY disrespectful and small-minded to use ANY slang term to describe a nationality. As a matter of fact, I would rather be referred to as Caucasian than white so when I refer to a skin color, I choose the terms African-American, Hispanic or Hispanic-American, Asian or Asian-American, etc. And I'm really sorry if you've ever been on the receiving end of a word like "beaner"!
