They have a pill to help people quit smoking, but the problem is it also makes some people irritable and mean. My husband tried it.

It's not the government's fault that people are stupid enough to start smoking.

I smoked for years before I quit cold turkey because I was pregnant. You can do it, you just have to really want to.

The government makes way too much money off cigarettes to just throw it away! They don't care about the people and our health. They surely wouldn't spend an extra million on helping the people quit! They'd rather get a million selling them the cigarettes and plus it would just cause more problems and more people going to prison because of people smoking ilegally so they might as well keep it legal but yes, I do think we should do something about it but the world isn't like that. They just want the money!

There is no money in a cure. The more people smoke the more health problems they will have to pay to try to fix. The government taxes everyone so more tax money for Uncle Sam.

The government just pays lip-service to the anti smoking lobbyists...big tobacco donates more...and of course there are people who don't want to quit.
