Well.........my husband uses to bring problems from work to home..I have told him many times to get them out....but.........
so, sometimes at the minimun thing he explodes. He can be without talk for some days..I dont care..and it is a pleasure for me..
I enjoy the silence and to have time for myself

I feel your pain. I don't exactly have a wife but I can tell you that it feels very disconcerting. It's like walking on egg shells. What I have done is not try to push the issue. Yes, you can enjoy the silence but what if there are things that need addressing. like for instance normal day to day activities around the house. Just wait for the right moment and if all else fails, shoot 'em!

Make funny faces at him and act like an a s s to get him to laugh and talk to me again. I hate all that weird "we're in a fight tension" so I try to break it as soon as possible.

I think it depends on male or female--If its a male not talking, your just gonna have to wait it out-- if its a female.. she is waiting for you to say the right thing,,probly apoligize! Good Luck

apologize for whatever you did wrong, if you are male and your spouse is female, buy her her favourite flowers (if you don't know it, good luck!), cook her dinner, clean the house.

Give him time to get his thoughts together on what's bothering him. And let him get back to me on his own free will. Of course I couldn't follow my own advice because I have no patience.
