comic relief?

i reckon its called comic relief cos relief is what everyone feels when its over...either that or lenny henry having one off the wrist...i havent seen a comedian on tele for years..to make most of the people in this country laugh they d have to use archive footage,i reckon pretentious people pretend the stuff makes em laugh,like some of those lar de dars who reckon modern art is good viewing..what do you lot reckon?

The thing I don't understand about Comic relief is that they will show videos of A woman rushing her child to hospital, and then the child dieing and the heart wrenching pictures of the mother crying and in an inconsolable state and then cut to little Britain or something. How am I supposed to laugh at anything after that. And that stupid ***** Kate Thornton saying Just give us 40pence and we'll stop this from happening.
After watching that poor mother I couldn't laugh at anything all night so I switched it off, as I do every year, you can't laugh after stuff like that, the whole concept is wrong Comedy and tragedy.

i agree that they use african little ones in the films to attain more advantageous money , how ever i do not agree that any of the money could flow to africa . because in case you examine/ watch the records lots of the money does no longer get to them that like it . or the authorities intervenes no longer promptly. i also imagine that they could end this discovered helplessness they have and regulate their personal lives . also i'd like to entice close the position comic relief get deliver us £5 for a mmosquitonet even as those should be offered a lot a lot more advantageous affordably nicely you probably did ask lol have a very good day :---)

i agree and really dont like lenny henry , you never hear of him through the year till this day. but its for a good reason tho, i know poverty still will exist. look at live 8 that didnt even do much, i still havent hurd what the money went to from that, oh well message me back if you agree, cya!!!

It can be funny, but normally only once in a blue moon. It normally isn't, but I watch and donate anyway because it's for charity.
That's why it is on telly, because in the end it's the fact that some poor kid in Africa will be getting a great improvement to his/her village. And that's what counts.

The comedians nowadays depend on their writers to provide them with the joke material and they just read the jokes from the cue cards, no more expression or physical cues to heighten the joke. After all:
Laugh, and the world laughs with you.
Cry, and you have to blow your nose.

someone telling the truth, how refreshing. The programme is awfull, and it centres around the poor, middle class and upper class putting their hands in their pockets, whilst the failed celebs boost there careers whilst enjoying a free show and plenty of BBC champagne (no doubt). 2 kids tie themselves together for 10hours to raise £60, good for them, but who is their uncle, aunt, mother, father...... that got them on the show? it seems to me its all about self improvement

there are no bloody comics around anymore the present crowd make you feel a **** just listening to the crap they come out with i don't know who gives them a job so you get them round your neck when your on a cruise
