We need to stay. I read answers, "our troops are dienig" well yea, that is like kinda the idea of WAR people! If we pull out now, what would happen. If that no good waste of skin, clinton would have taken Osama Bin Laden when he was taken the first time we really wouldnt be in this mess. I say we stay in there maybe for another 2 years or so and by then we should be done. When you join the armed forces you dont join to say Im Army Strong... I'll go to war, unless people die then I want to return to my couch patato days! It isnt gonna happen. I hope the next president we have has a brain in there skull and keeps the troops in Iraq.

I would say leave. Unfortunately, 1) the longer troops stay there, the more Halliburton can rape it for it's oil. 2) VP Cheney worked for Halliburton. 3)Cheney is making a killing off the stocks he still owns 4) Cheney is the brains behind the operation. 5) Bush is the controller of the whole military, so whatever Cheney says, Bush says, and does, and then the military does. I do agree that we should be more concerned with our own people within our country. The U.S. had a $700 billion trade deficit last year. The war cost only $500 billion (Approx.). I'd rather owe $200 billion then $700 billion.

Well not like it is going to happen anytime soon, but I feel that our troops should leave. Now that I am a veteran, I feel that we should focus on this country. I have seen a lot of friends come and go, being sent to Iraq or coming back. And the majority of them all feel that they should not be over there, and the ones that have returned just feel as if they were over there for nothing. So why are we still there?, we are losing this war, we are losing our troops, and we are losing money. The one thing that was going through my head when the military was about to send me over there was, something just doesn't feel right. We are draining this country of everything that we need, we need peace, we need the economy, and we need our troops. They need to come home, the families of our troops deserve a lot more than some medals and a neatly folded flag........they want their fathers, sons, brothers, cousins, sisters, and mothers to come home.

We are committed. We must stay to finish the job, or face some horrible consequences.
I've read all the responses thus far, and they all say we should get out. I say we should WIN. Running away from this enemy will profit us nothing, will only postpone the inevitable, and offer a change of venue: the fight will be fought...they are absolutely committed to the subjugation of the planet...we have just chosen to fight it THERE...i have served two tours there, and will likely go back.
as for the ninny who threw Halliburton into his answer...WHAT?? is your mind so fogged with liberal propaganda that you can't see that Halliburton ain't the problem? and just who do you think put Halliburton over there? likely, you'll say GW...but that ain't so...
Bill Clinton hired Halliburton to handle Mideast operations...primarly because they can do jobs that no one else on this earth can do..for love or money...
get ready, boys and girls...this war will run on and on until one side or the other emerges a clear winner. there is no truce in this...it is either absolute victory, for once and for all...or utter defeat. there's no middle ground.
do you want your daughters to be burkha'd and beaten? look at the vidoes of people having their tongues cut out for speaking ill of Saddam...or having their fingers lopped off for emailing criticisms of their 'leaders'...
you liberals better wake up while you still can, and grow some backbone.

We will leave when the dems have power. This way the prophecy will come true that Persia will regain its former state which is the land of Iran and Iraq. When the U.S. leaves Iran will gain power over Iraq while it will not have solidified a central government.
God uses the most unlikely people to do his bidding, especially those who do not believe in Him.

My husband is a retired Marine, but unfortunately I have to say it's time for us to leave. There are just too many people over there who have been brainwashed over the years and things will never be the way the US wants it. Maybe if the US concentrated on us more, our own crime rate would fall. We've tried, but it's time for our troops to come home.

In my opinion we should have pulled out when we found out there were no nuclear weapons. Instead our "great leader"
wanted to play God and decide who died and who got to stay
behind. It didn't matter to him as long as he had some toy soldiers to play with. There is also the fact that no one went after Osama. Instead they went after Saddam. I know Saddam killed alot more people but, there were too many deaths on 9 - 11 ON OUR OWN LAND. I have to ask you what is your opinion? Yes we went to war but with a kid at the
steering wheel we're going to be going in circles until he's removed! The war is pointless if all they can come up with are
his accomplices. Osama is probably in his own penthouse this sorry excuse of a government gave to the RAT!

No information right here. purely my opinion: That the international is getting extra interactive, and the dominant form of government won't be in a position to be violent dictatorship. i think that ruling by using brute tension would be eradicated in the subsequent one hundred years. Iraq and Afghanistan are as good a place to start as any. bypass us of a !!

We need to leave because our troops are dying, there is ongoing violence (without a workable solution), we are angering the world by keeping our troops in Iraq.
