From what I see here and in person, it's either Christians trying to impose their religious beliefs on Atheist, or it's Atheist's always trying debunk religions with their godless views.

Christians and athiests generally DON'T hate eachother. You're seeing a very small percentage of both populations... the fanatics. Fanatical people don't by any means represent a group, but it seems like they do because they are the most outspoked and visible. They are the ones who we see on the news, or on places like Yahoo! Answers trying to stir up emotions. Most Christians/athiest probably get along well. I hang out with a mixed group of Christians and Athiests (I'm Agnostic) and we're all great friends. True athiests shouldn't care if someone else believes in God, and while Christians would like everyone to be Christian, most accept another human's decision to have their own spiritual beliefs and respect them. Also Christianity teaches to love you neighbor regardless of their beliefs.

Bias question. Simply examine the site. You will rarely find any other religion, belief system or even persons in a psychotic state criticising and challenging atheists. They simply just do not believe in a God - any God.

Then look at the Christians - are they worried that atheists do not believe in the calf idol, Buddha or any other god? No of course not. They are only against anyone who does not believe in their God.

Whilst Christians enjoy the freedom to follow their religion and worship as they want they are totally unable to leave others alone to believe or not believe anything that is not Christian.

Take away the atheists and you would still have the same problem with the Christians saying the same sort of things about other religions, pagans etc. Take away the Christians - World peace? Well it just might happen. Every non-christian seems far more tolerant, freedom loving, caring and moral than Christians and care about other peoples freedoms.

What you are really looking at is Christian oppression of those who will not follow them.

Let me put my two cents in...

As a Christian I am taught to love and accept everyone. Not to be judgemental. Of course I am only human so its impossibly not be judgemental at all.

I don't HATE atheists and they are entitled to their own opinions. I am actually friends with some atheists and unless the subject is brought up or I am asked a question then we will have a discussion but other then that, I don't talk about it.
I have enough respect that people have their own beliefs and really what I say isn't going to change what they beleive or feel. THEY HAVE TO WANT TO CHANGE....I can't do anything to help them until they are willing to want to.

So any christian that comes on here and says that they HATE atheists and talk down about them aren't being very good christians.
Christians or any other religion for that matter are taught to love everyone, respect everything and accept everyone just as God does. Hate the sin, not the sinner.

i could ought to declare for the main section, the middle ideals are a similar. There are some exceptions, occasion being ... Catholics, Baptist, Lutheran (all who're Christians) have self assurance interior the Deity of Jesus and that he's in fact the son of God, God incarnate. JW's and that i think Mormons, have not got self assurance this, they suspect him as a prophet. you know what inspite of the indisputable fact that, you're definitely suitable!! Oh, i'm effective i gets people who would be mad at me for agreeing with an atheist, yet you hit it suitable on the nostril!! you know why it fairly is like that? they're all extra annoying approximately being suitable and glorifying themselves fairly than glorifying God and obeying God. Love your neighbor. unfold the Gospel of Jesus, no longer the Gospel of your denomination. very few count on God's be conscious as authority, it seems to be their denominations be conscious using fact the authority. Its fairly unhappy to be common. If that's not in Gods be conscious, the Bible, then that's not so, era! there is not any one church, as defined in the international, it somewhat is "The Church". The church is the human beings who're saved and following Jesus, in spite of denomination. thank you for pointing it out, and previous to time, I make an apology for those which will answer you in a impolite trend or who can no longer cope with the fact. Have an incredible day!

If someone is a true Christian, they could not hate. Though they may not agree or made be frustrated they could not hate. As far as Atheists go I think they hate Christians because they are scared of the truth and are missing something in their own life so they have to attack others. Christians have things that support their beliefs (Bible, Church, true testimony, and a inner-feeling and love that you cannot understand until you are a believer) Atheists only have their hate and argument nothing concrete.

I'm an atheist. Speaking strictly for myself, I don't hate christians for being what they are. I only ask that they don't force their beliefs on others (especially me), and that they don't get any special breaks just because of their beliefs. That means tax breaks, preferential treatment, etc. Churches should pay property taxes at the same rate that any business does, and clergy should stand trial for criminal abuses just like lay people.

I am spiritual and I do not hate a single soul except scumbag satan. But other than that scab I cannot hold a single thing against anyone. Because all it really is, is wrong thinking and I have had plenty of that myself. Atheist's are just misled individuals with misinformation guiding them.
It is sad that satan can deceive people so bad that they can't even see or acknowledge the truth.I don't hold that against them because scumbag satan has been around for a while and has developed his techniques.
But as a ex-wiccan I know that all satan does is trick people into giving him the power that GOD gives to each one of us but the scum cannot hold on to it so the scum uses it to deceive people into thinking that the scumbag himself has the power which he has none.Anyways, Take care and may GOD bless you.

I think it's just because both sides really believe what they believe. It's kind of like if half the world saw the sky as blue and half saw it as green; they both see what they see and it frustrates them that the others don't see what is so obvious. Not to mention Christians think if you don't believe their way you'll rot in hell.

I am an agnostic so I guess this does not apply to me. But, I don't hate either group. I learn from them. I would not want either of them to be harmed because of their beliefs.
