youre right , dont put it in the fireplace. however i keep a small pile outback when we want to sit around a fire and dont plan on cooking any wieners or marshmallows. like the other dude said see if it is good enough for making boards...

Is there any landscaping places near by that might want to use it for mulch or Make some yard furnature with it I have seen some cool garden benchs made with whole logs!!

Freecycle.org is a very good idea!! I like to burn pine in my fireplace in the winter and I would be happy to pick it up .... if you were in my area.

In some areas people have small saw mills to make lumber. You might want to check to see if any are in your area as sometimes they will buy the logs.

sell is, put an ad in the paper, local store or laundry mat, even a sign in your front yard.
many people like the smell for their pits or fireplaces.

you could use them to build an above ground garden, I personally don't like the way they look, but if I were older it might be nice not to have to kneel and bend over so far to weed.

I am just curious, why do people keep cutting down the trees, beautiful trees which make our ugly landscape seem more beautiful?
yaya right... dont tell me they were dropping needles or that they were dangereous. that bull.
go screw urself.
people who cut down trees are haters. It's not natural to have a small forest cover...i dont even want to think of whats gonna happen in like 60 years...
