trying to find a good area, with lots of stores, and transportation, and of course safe. I have my eye set on Ravens Crossings apartments, anyone heard of it?

Altamonte is a great area. I grew up just north of there (Sanford).
It's a suburb of Orlando - about 10 minutes north of Downtown Orlando, right on Interstate 4.
Plenty of shopping -- Altamonte Mall, Target, Wal-mart, etc. & plenty of restaurants (all the major chains, etc.) all within a small area.
Close to Disney, but without all the tourists!

Nope i don't have an answer for you but where do you live in chicago itself? Cuz i'm from Elgin but live in PA. Good luck moving!!!!
