Do you throw away the old broom for the new one?

if so, then yes... i don't ever carry my old broom to a new house when i move--- it's bad luck, i just buy a new one.

I guess that just depends, what kind of shape is the old broom in, does it still get the job done. Can't hurt to keep a back up.
