I was answering questions and my kids wanted to ask one through me. This was my oldest's question. My youngest asked about Trix. (they are 9 and 10)

no his parents didnt drop him. he has a crayon shoeved in his brain. he once sneezes it out and becomes smart

Actually, the creator of The Simpsons made Homer dumb because as human beings, we laugh at others expense. Homer being dumb and doing stupid things is funny and we laugh at his expense...it's quite natural.
