when i was a starving colledge student there was a hotdog stand on campus and I had them make it all the way in order to get the most food. Turns out I really liked this combo:

it depends on the hot dog. on cheese dogs i like ketchup. on natural casing dogs, only spicy mustard will do. On oscar meyer plain beef franks i like kraut and spicy mustard, and grilled onions.
