Nice compliment, but entirely inappropriate. One of the type that makes it hard to complain to the manager, too, 'cause you know what he'll do. I think I would have been tempted to run back for the tip, yeah. I might even have done it.
Oh--did your hubby do anything? Even if his ego puffed, he should've at least put the guy in his place.

That's f-up, girl. i would embarrass him in front of everyone.
But now that you mention a waiter, one time me and some colleges whent to eat at Island's hamburgers and left this glass of water up side down. It's possible if you think about it. Pressure. Anyways, as we were leaving, the waiter gets there and doesn't know what to do. We look inside from outside of a window. Yhen he had no choice, but to lift it up. Yup, we were ******* to that poor guy. LOL. Good times. Peace!

Oh, I would have taken it as a compliment, but I would have been like "What the heck was he thinking?"
Either that or you could have went back to the table and grabbed the cash. If he gave you a look, you should have simply said "I don't tip people who make rude comments after the meal."

LOL. Sometimes, usu. b/c I probably only have a couple dollars left. But I don't go anywhere if I can't tip. In your case, I would have had no problem going back to get the tip.

anyone for that matter in those terms, even if i

Looks like nobody got your joke. That new avatar system worked out well for you though. Its like it says " the REAL TOP CONTRIBUTOR" . Like the all the other "top contributor"s are imitation top contributors.
