You have 'Braxton Hicks' contractions ... these are not 'going into labor' but are your body 'doing exercise' to get 'in shape' to go into labor. You'll have them until you go into 'real labor' and the way to tell the difference is that Braxton Hicks contractions don't get 'harder' and 'shorter between' the way 'real labor contractions' do ... but be sure to tell your doctor about your 'cramps' and see if there is anything he can 'tell you' about them that will 'help you relax' and have a happy child at the right time ...

I have 1 beautiful daughter, named Destiny, and when i was about 36 wks. i had cramps alot. So, my advice would be to just go to the doctor, and if something is wrong handle it justly. But cramps ARE a normal part of pregnancy.

I had that same feeling before my baby dropped. Im almost 38 weeks and my baby dropped at the begining of my 37th week. I bet you more than anything yor baby will be dropping sometime soon! Good luck!!

By the way, just to pre-warn you, after s/he drops, the pelvic pain only gets worse.

it sounds like braxton hicks contractions, false labor. if you were going into labor, you wouldnt be able to walk or talk due to the pain.
