So hears the thing, Have you looked at a map lately? Which country in Africa were you referring too to compare with Australia?
If I was going on a holiday I would choose Africa and travel across a lot of different countries.
To live I would be more selective.- need to be more precise about what you are looking for

I've not been to Africa but have been to Australia. so i will say Australia!!!! Loved it. Sharp contrasts with different landscapes from the rugged outback, Barrier reef and gorgeous rainforest's. Am planning to go again in 2008!!!

Have not been to either and would like to travel to both - even though as one answerer stated - Africa is not a country - big whoop, it's only semantics. I would like to go on a safari.

Neither is a country. Africa is a continent & Oz is an island. Love both.
