As others have said it really depends on what kind of gas mileage you get. However, it is a bad idea to let your gas level get below a quarter of a tank as this can cause damage to the fuel pump from either trying to pump with nothing there to pump or from pulling in particles or sediments that have settled to the bottom of you fuel tank.

It depends on how many gallons of gas your car holds. Mistsubishi usually gets a good 30 miles to the gallon.

It's really hard to say. It depends on what kind of car you have and even then, it really is something that depends on your individual car. In my car, the low gas light never even comes on. If you get much below 1/4 tank of gas, you're continuing at your own risk. I've run out of gas before on my way to the gas station when the meter still said I had over 1/8 a tank.

Depends on the year, make, model of your car as well as the speed you're traveling, the road conditions, weather, and any extra weight your car may be carrying. There are too many factors involved to give you an accurate estimate on how many miles your car can continue to travel with the low fuel light on.
But I always believe I can get about 10 - 20 miles in my Jeep.

It defiantly would vary from car to car, depends on what you get for gas mileage. My car, according to the manual with it, will go another 12 to 15 miles. Don't know how accurate that is because to really find out, you would have to drive it until it ran out of gas. That does not sound like a fun thing to do for me.

Depends on the model of the car. They're all different. In most instances, you have 1-2 more gallons of gasoline in the tank when the light comes on. How many miles that will get you is what varies.

The low gas indicator usually means you have 2 gallons left. So how many miles you can go depends on the mileage your car gets.

it depends on the model vehicle and the size of the tank. some manufacturers have a 1 gallon reserve, some a 2gallon or bigger. When the light comes on it is the signal to get your keester to a station. On a mitsu, you'll probably have about 25 miles....MAXIMUM

I can go about 40 or 50 in my mazda. One way to find out.
Buy a small gas can. Fill it up. Go til you run out and then you'll know. Its helpful to know how much gas you have when you are too busy to fil er up!

I would guess around 20 miles or so. Check in your owners manual. It should have a section containing that info.
