on ps2 when im on a rope and i need to swing and jump it doesnt let me and when i jump then try theres like this thign in frotn of me please help me?

what level is it? if its the one I'm thinking,you climb the rope to the top and jump on to the bar opposite you,then the thing that's in your way closes .if not need more info!

try button combiination slower I had the same problem until I slowed myself down.
