make a huge pile of snow and start packing it down, once it is packed down then dig a hole on the side of it all the way inside, it will be like an igloo, then poor cold water on it, not so much that it melts but enough, do this at night when it is colder and the sun isnt out this will make your fort hard so it will not crush. Then you should be ready for a good snow ball fight! or you can just hang out inside of your igloo!

If the snow is the right temperature, you can cut blocks of snow and put the fort together, like you would using bricks.
They used to sell a plastic box about shoe box size that you'd pack with snow, and make into a snow brick.

when u shovel, put all of the snow into one big pile and flatten it (it makes it sturdier) then, start digging a hole on the bottom, in the front. then once you get a bit inside, start carving it BIG. one time i made one when i was younger and put coasters in it. it was so big, my mom and i could fit comfortably in it and drink hot coco!
