They were even talking about it on the Today Show...they even pretty much admitted how much he sucks :)

I am a Howard Stern listener, and Howard has called upon his fans to continue to vote for Sanjaya. He is doing this to cause mass hysteria within the American Idol ranks, and to cause Simon more grief. Since Howard is now on nationwide through Sirius, you can bet that (unless the votes are fixed) that Sanjaya is going to be on for quite a while!!

It's a public circus. It's the public voting them in. You read the script.
Better question: why is American Idol still on TV? Do we have to be demeaned by three weird people for weeks selling ourselves like candy to get a record contract? Contestants: Go write your own music so we can see ya for who you really are.

The producers already know that AO has become so routine and they are trying to keep him there as a twist! There were people better than him to make it to the top 24, so I kind of am leaning towards the idea that it is what the producers want

I have no idea! Maybe it's because all the little American girls think he's sooo cute & they love his hair probably. Yes it's a singing competetion but other things are factoring into people's votes besides singing, also looks, style, personality...hair etc etc etc.

because , frankly he stinks , and their is a movement out there to keep him on for as long as possible , just to make american idol look silly , he should of never made the top 24 .

He probably has a small hometown where every fricken person in the town votes for him. There are also the people who vote for people as jokes or pity votes. I hate his voice, but what can we do?
