Mamma Mia is a musical based on several songs by the band ABBA. The plot is that a girl is getting married and wants to invite her father, but doesn't know who her father is. She narrows it down to three candidates and invites each one. It is a humorous play.

I've seen it. In my opinion it wasn't a great show, but the music is fun. It's about a girl who is using her wedding to find out how her father is. She found her mom's diary from when she was younger and found out there are three possible guys that could be her dad. That's all I can really tell you without giving away then good parts.

It's not by ABBA, ABBA's just in it. Never have seen it, but haven't heard good things.

i believe it was a gimmick. they produced it as a joke and then when fans like it, they got serious with that
