why are television football fans so bitter towards supporters who watch live football?

It looks like you have got hold of the wrong idea here if the Most of your Answers are anything to go by. I have been To Both and to be honest (OK you can not beat the atmosphere from being there), BUT, you see so much more watching the Television.

If anything it seems as if supporters who watch live football are bitter towards those who watch it on the telly (because we are too lazy to get our bum off the couch and to a real match! haha j/k).

Imo it's the other way around, I've been to every game this season but last season could hardly get any tickets and when I commented on games was told ' your not at the games so can't judge them properly' I think you see a more complete game on tv although of course you can't beat being at a match.

because they think that they are real supporters and are jelous of the fact real fans like me (who go home and away across europe) go and see the players up close and then moan about not being able to go to the match even though i am sure they could have goine it they made an effort.

if i was you i would just ignore them

i didn't know they were? i go to old trafford and watch it on the telly. Some fans can't afford to go to matches.
