Thanks cora wasn't thinking that it was state ot state but that seem right...I'm 46 and remember hearing in my younger days that their was a 7 year statute of limitations on all crimes but murder..guess Texas changed that law but not sure when that was.

If you want to know when a particular state enacted or changed the particular statute of limitations regarding a particular crime, tort or other civil action, you need to be more specific.
