The last time they won the top division title was in the 1989/1990 season. But at the time it was not called the Premiership but called the Football League First Division.

they won the highest league at the time in 1989-90. it was not then the premiership as we know it now....things changed in 1992. that's when the premiership as it is now began....
liverpool have not won any of those 14 epl's......lol.....
since 1992 when this format of epl began.....we (man u) have won 8 out of the 14!!

They have never won the Premiership. They were Champions of the Old Football League in 1990.
