yes simply because the 360 has more exclusive games and price. I have got lots of games for £17 and although PS3`s are great they are not really any better than a 360. You can get a Wii and 360 cheaper than a PS3 so I think that says it all. The playstation pad is also very poor without triggers you can`t play racing games properly anyone who plays moto gp will realise the major advantage the 360 has by allowing complete control.

Right now the 360 is a far better gaming platform. There are more games out for it, more developers working on it and more support. Not only that but there's the huge catalogue of original xbox games that are compatible with it. Xbox Live is huge and there are always loads of people waiting to play.
However, the PS3 can play blu-ray discs (the 360 will play HD DVD with the optional player) and will no doubt have massive support once it has been released. Having said that it is far more expensive, and the games are extortionate right now too.
I would suggest holding off buying the PS3 until it has a few killer apps and perhaps dropped $100.
