****Eat no saturated or trans fats.
****Eat little or no sugar.
****Eat whole grains, and eat these carbs in moderation.
****Eat a good amount of lean proteins.
****Eat smaller meals, but more frequently
****Don't eat after 8:00 pm (7:00 is even better)
****Use strength training (a good guide that works a different muscle group each day so you can recover without injury)along with your cardio to produce more muscle mass. Use weights heavy enough that you can barely finish a set of 12 without a major burn.
Do those things and you will not only not gain weight you'll lose your body fat as you gain muscles in all the right places.

first remember 1 lbs of muscle burns 50 calories while you sleep...
while 1 lbs of fat burns 1 calory while you sleep...
so the more muscle you put on the more calories you will destroy... lift free weights and go for failure..
do cardio maybe 2 times a week for like 30 minutes each day...
in order to effect you body you heart rate has to beat faster for at least 10 minutes or you have done nothing but waste your time.....
part of the 30 minutes is a cool down period as well,,,
as you lift weights your body will require more and more food to stay at the same weight you have it at now.... that is what you are after... so teach your body to run at a higher rate of speed and you will drop the pounds... it takes time... doing it healthy takes about 12 months..
I suggest standing in front of a mirror with your under wear on.. take pictures of yourself now.. and 1 time a month snap off a few and look at the before and after... that way you can see the results and it will keep you fired up

Their is only one way and thats steroids.
If you want to put on mucle, you will put on some fat, their is no way around it. You need to eat more, especially carbs so you have energy in he gym. The best way to put on lean muscle with minimal fat is to keep your diet clean. Most fats should be healthy fats, nut saturated fats (unless it is fom steak or oats) and no trans fats. You also need to lift more and keep cardio at a minimum. Once you have enouh muscle, you can cut drop your cals, lift and do cardio and you should lose some body fat.

Actually I think cardio burns fat but not necessarily builds muscle . . .
Think you need weight / load bearing exercise for that .

You need fat, it is normal. Exercise and diet... and you don't need to eat LOT... you need to eat high density nutritious foods, but fat and eating go hand in hand.. keeping it balanced, now that is the key.
