I would take another one and see what it says, or talk to your doctor. False negitives are common, false positives aren't. If you were bleeding though you may of had an early miscarriage or something.

Was it a heavy period or light? It's normal to bleed the next month, but should be a light period if you're pregnant. I'd suggest either taking another test or having a blood test. Don't know where you live but here in utah it's only $10 at the hospital and free at a family planning clinic. Good luck 2U!

Hmmm, I'm guessing this is not your first time being intimate, because if so, then he could have broken your hymen and that could of caused the bleeding. Other than that I am not sure. but I would consult a physician asap! Take another test in about a week or so- Something could be wrong, and even tho we pray that its not, you still wanna be safe, rather than sorry. Go to you OB-GYN. Or Local Doctor. Also, ask for a blood test to be certain!

probably not if you got a period the next month. You might had had a miscarriage that happens to many women. right now they know that 1 out of 5 has a miscarriage and who knows how many really do because they just do not know they were preg. I had something like that happen to me this month and I know now I am not preg. for sure. Just take another to see if it comes out neg then you can say you are not ( you have given yourself plenty of time to work up the hormones)

Sounds like you should call your doctor. Did you take the pregnancy tests on the same day? It sounds like you could have had a miscarriage or it is possible to still have your period while pregnant.

Take a few different brands of tests or go to the doctor for a blood test.

i would say probably not, if you had your next period the next month. you said you had a postive test, are sure it wasnt an evaperated line, they look alot like a postive test. it will be grayish in color. but test again to rule pregnancy out

maybe you should take the test again. you could also try getting a better brand pregnancy test, sometimes the generic brands lie!

got to your hospital to the birthing floor they should have a like a family planing place they'll give a preg test for free... or go to a family planing they should do it for free and then you can ask them questions to get you started off on the right foot...
