What color goes with yellow?

Question

I am going to a wedding and I bought a yellow polka-dotted dress its a V neck, it's about 4 or 5 in. above my knee and i need a good color to go with it im having lots of trouble finding a yellow clutch or anything yellow so I decided to move to another color. Could anyone suggest a color and direct me twords some sites or stores that would have the accesories (shoes, jewelry, handbags)?

You said the dress was polka dotted, what color are the polka dots? Or if the polka dots are yellow, what is the color of the dress itself? I would probably go with white or the color of the dress/polka dots, but you could do other colors depending on the shade of yellow the dress is. Use yellow to perk up a more subdued cool palette of blues and grays. Use lemon yellow with orange to carry out a healthy, summery, citrus theme. Very pale yellows can work as neutrals alongside darker or richer colors. Yellow and blue are a high contrast, eye-popping combination. it depends on what color the polka dota are or the color the polka dota are on. if its polka dotted there has got to b a basecolor. white or blue are good options but u really have to know what other color is on the dress!!!! if the back of the dress or the polka dots are white stick to white shoes and accesories!!! ya see where im getting at?

Either go w/ the other color of the dress- probably white, or, if u look online, there are tons of yellow clutches. It was a really hot color last season, so u could probably still find something really cute. Try looking on zappos.com.

Alot of colors look good with yellow. If its a pastel yellow, other pastels would look pretty..like pink, lilac or baby blue. If its a darker yellow, red or navy blue would look nice. Then you could always go with black. It goes with everything! good luck!

you could go for white but if you would like another color try pink. depending on the shade of yellow that you have. if it's a dark yellow go for a darker pink if it's a pale yellow go for pale pink. go to www.jcpennys.com

I would say your best bet would be either green or brown maybe a scarf or somthing depending on the weather. hope that helped
