Hi- I just have a question... I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and they said I was due June 7th. Then I had my 20 week ultrasound and they gave me a due date of June 2nd. Then today I had a 28 week ultrasound because I have a low lying placenta and my due date is now June 1st. Has this happened to anyone else? I know that the first ultrasound is most accurate but does it mean that I will have a big baby due to the measuments of the baby that they use to determine the ultrasound?

Thanks

The due date is determined by the size of the baby(all the measurements they do during) As your baby grows some are just bigger and some are not. This would affect the change in date. Don't worry about the exact date the baby is due, they come when they want anyway. Try to think of it as a due week instead of exact day. I know I always wanted to identify a day on which I was due but it's a lot of pressure to put on the baby to "arrive" on that day.
Good luck, this will be so exciting for you! Congrads, you are going to LOVE being mommy!

The earliest sonogram will be the most accurate. All of those dates are only a few days apart... I have 3 different due dates. Going by my period, I am due May 6. By my first sonogram, June 7.... yes 30 days later.... by my second sonogram, June 16. So I would be grateful for having my due dates that close. Besides, the average woman goes into labor 2 weeks before her actual due date, and it is okay to go over up to 2 weeks after your due date. So, you are due at the begining of June. Sonograms calculate the average size of a fetus or embryo and come up with an average age due to size. Every baby is different and every woman is different. Sonograms are not exact. Don't ever let anyone tell you they are. Some people are told by sonograms that they are going to have a girl and its a boy when born....

No, because they keep moving your due date UP to compensate for the size of your baby. This means that your new due date is June 1st and they will take that into consideration if it comes down to an induction, they won't wait two weeks after your June 7th date...

I would go with the first one. Your baby may just be getting bigger but not necessarily developing more. The first time I was pregnant I knew exactly what the first day of my last period was and it matched with my first ultra sounds my second ultra sound said I was further along. And towards the end of my pregnancy my doctor told me I was going to have a big baby and she was only 6 lbs 11 oz. Average but not big. But your dates are close enough not to be worring about. As long as you have them after the 37th week there isnt anything to worry about. So just go by the latest date to play it safe of when the 37th week is going to be.

yes this happened to me. i actually ended up not having a due date but a due time lol it was from march 12-31, all the ultrasounds showed a conflicting date, which didnt even match up to my lmp. the dr ended up inducing me on march 4, in fear the baby would be big..but i delivered a 7.8 and 20 1/2in little girl.

nope its thoroughly known... youll in all probability locate that the due date transformations reckoning on the way the toddler is mendacity and so on - this might extremely effect measurements.. keep in mind every time from week 37 - week forty two is thoroughly risk-free and known - so i wouldnt problem approximately it too plenty .... its called an anticipated due date for a reason - because of the fact its an knowledgeable guess!!!! in basic terms 5% of infants are born on the due date ... yet to be undemanding in basic terms now the variations between the due dates are minimum - its unlike they are asserting hes in basic terms 30 weeks old whilst hes very virtually finished term (this could be a widespread problem - because of the fact the toddler has stopped transforming into!) so i extremely wouldnt problem too plenty approximately this sort of tiny descrepancy! in basic terms relish your being pregnant! yet whilst it extremely is your 1st (as i think it extremely is!) keep in mind that on standard, 1st infants are 10 days late! So assume your darling around the tenth of JAN!!! no longer long to circulate now!!! stable good fortune!!

Cool. Have a happy pregnancy!
I think that those are all close enough to eachother. No baby comes ON the due date!

It's actually quite common for them to show differently, I would go by the first date because it's usually the most accurate. besides all the dates are pretty close so you don't have anything to worry about

due dates are estimates, none of them are actual dates. anything can happen. its fair to say that any estimated due date can be within one week ahead or behind.
