There are multiple such attacks each month in Thailand, yet I have yet to see them reported on any of the television news outlets. Why is the media helping the enemy?

The people in the US are ingorant because the mainstream press keep them that way.

The people of the US are notoriously ignorant of the rest of the world, due to the fact that the US itself covers quite a large area. However, travel and communication have increased to such an extent that we cannot afford to ignore what is going on.
A big proportion of the blame goes to our major news media, which do not investigate or report objectively. They could certainly make people aware of these problems if they wanted to.

The Thai government does not have any affiliations with the U.S. or Canada. Unfortunately, there is no "need" to televise their news because we're in no danger of it. I'm truly sorry for what happens in the world, but unfortunately politics runs the world, and every country is different in this perspective.
