The sign will say, "Ring Door Bell for Assistance". I'm not sure if Door Bell should be two separate words or one compound word. For example doorbell. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about "Please ring bell for assistance." They already know it's a door bell, so why stress yourself in knowing the proper way. I think this way sounds a bit more mannerly too.
