Because O'Reilly brings up valid points to argue against liberal points of view, and they have no rational argument against him. Therefore, in typical liberal mantra, they chime back by calling him names. That's about as adult as most liberals get...
Rosie O Fattel is the liberal's poster girl. You don't agree with her and she will just scream at you loud enough that no one else can hear what you are saying...For someone who preaches about being open minded, she is about as close-minded as they get.

At a guess, it's because they don't like what he says.
Personally, I think some things he says are reasonable, and some things are so reprehensible the he deserves a slap in the face from his significant other for being unconscionable.
For example, his recent comments regarding the children who died in the NY fire -- on the day of fire, and the day of the funeral -- that they probably got what they deserved because they might have been illegal immigrants (noting that he offered no proof, and rather demanded that his assumption they were illegal be disproven). That's just offensive, by any standards of modern decency.
~~~~~~
As far as sentences for sex offenders, the sentences for each crime are determined first by the state legislators, not the judge. And parole is determined by the board of corrections, not the judge. So, if you think the laws should be different, then work to get the laws changed.
Your comments about the ACLU are so nonsencial and misquoted that they're not even worth commenting on.
Your little rant didn't change people's minds about Bill O'Reilly! Don't kid yourself! There are way more reasons not to like him than just his stance on sex offenders. I don't like the way he refers to himself as a journalist, but then forces his opinions on us... can't have it both ways. You're either a commentator OR a journalist, not both. I don't like the way he shouts down his guests when they actually make a valid point he doesn't agree with. That is just his way of making sure he gets his way. My dislike of him is not political, I happen to agree with stiff penalties for child molestors and child porn offenders. My total dislike for him stems from his lack of professionalism, his rediculously rude behavior, and his penchant for inviting guests who either agree with him, or that he knows he can beat into submission by overriding the conversation. I realize you may have to look up some of those words...
ps...I had to edit my answer... liberals DON'T condone, or come to the aid of child molestors (as some moron above mentioned!) What some liberals do is make sure that all offenders of any nature are treated with the same due process of law. Some of the worst travesties of justice have occured because people were rushed to trial and wrongly convicted, that's why we have the laws in place that we do. It seems that so many people don't understand the legal system or it's processes, they only have knee-jerk reactions to O'Reilly and Limbaugh's misguided rants. Ignorance is rampant!
OH, certainly, because of course "bill" takes a stand on this one issue only!! Don't be a jerk. And, btw, judges don't "let anyone out of prison." The law prescribes the limits of the punishment that certain crimes are allowed. If you don't like them getting out, lobby your legislators for stiffer penalties.
Yeah, I don't get it. Put a woman on death row for killing her husband that beat the hell out of her seven days a week, but give a child rapist probation!
Im not a liberal, and I find Bill's show interesting at times. But I don't like the way he bulldogs his pov around and omg, if he would just let his guest put in two words at a time!!! What is with the interruptions??
I don't like him because he talks over people. Have you ever counted how many times he says "shut up" during an interview or "debate"?
I respect him for the most part because he knows what he's talking about, unlike Mr. Limbaugh, but I don't like his rudeness. I think you should respect the opinions of others, whether or not you agree with them. If you have a "guest" on your show, allow them to speak.
Bill O'Reilly is a sex offender, he just managed to settle his sexual harrassment case out of the court. I don't like him because if someone disagrees with him on his show he cuts them off or talks over them, but , hey thats par for the course on FAUX News Channel, only the right wing gets to get their opinions across.
Because he speaks the truth and common sense, and we know how much liberals hate that.
Now they're all going to rant and ***** about him being arrogant and always getting the last word in. Well guess what? It's HIS show, and he is not unique among television/radio hosts about doing that.
Yes, he's arrogant. But so is Al Franken and Michael Moore.. and somehow that doesn't seem to elicit liberal hatred.
Bill is very passionate about his beliefs and he will do whatever it takes to get his point across. He also used actual facts, not slander, to back his statements. He is for harsher penalties for child predators and is trying to expose the state of Vermont for their slap on the wrist sentences. I fully respect him. I wish there were more people out there like him.
By the way, Bill is getting sued right now by Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband because Bill called him a fraud. (Her husband claimed to be the father of Anna Nicole's baby but has also said he is impotent.) LOL.
I'm not a liberal, but I don't like him either. He makes the most horrendous judgements for shock value, without checking his facts.
I don't like any journalists that don't check the facts, and refuse to retract when they know they've been caught in a lie.
