Good.... Then the people who HATE Idol can watch normal TV instead of putting up with this nonsense every spring. It could happen, seeing that PPV would make more $ than advertiser-sponsored TV. But I think the record companies want input from the common "joe schmo" type, so that they can figure out demographics for marketing the right singer to the public.

I'd love it if it went to PPV. That way I wouldn't have to worry about it interrupting my regular schedule. As I don't have cable or satellite, I'd pay nothing. In fact, I think I'd need to be paid to watch the show now!
