In the play Romeo and Juliet Why does Mercutio hate Tybalt? What might happen, if they were placed together at the dinner table. what one character would THINK about the other character.??

Partly it's because their families hate each other, but mostly they're just young and hot-headed (read:stupid). Young men always go off looking to pick fights with each other, to prove that they're better than the other guy. It's always about impressing girls. The fight between the families is just the excuse.
If they were at a dinner table together, they might hold it down if Capulet and Montague told them to, but they'd start poking each other with forks under the table, throwing food when Capulet and Montague weren't looking (but when the pretty girls WERE looking), and slipping coy little insults into the conversation.
Some day the two of them might grow up and even become good friends; they've got some things in common. But we never get to find out.

Mercutio wasn't a Montague so he never hated Tybalt. The reason they stated doling is because Mercutio was egging Tybalt on like he would do with anybody else but neither intended the fight to be deadly, just a show of sport. Unfortunately for them both Romeo didn't know this and tried to brake it up and that's when things got out of hand.

Tybalt is a Capulet. Mercutio is in with the Montagues. The families hate each other. They're enemies.
First, it would be Mercutio making comments all night, and Tybalt snapping and turning into a life-or-death brawl.

i think the only reason they hated each other was because of the family feud between the capulets and the montagues. if they were at dinner together some serious fighting would go on lol. i think tybalt would think about mercutio because mercutio just wants to have a good time and tybalt needs anger management
